MCE’s Commitment to Safety

Because our employees are MCE’s greatest asset, safe production is important to every job we perform. To achieve this, MCE implements our vision through our Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP), Heat Illness Prevention Plan (HIPP), and Workplace Violence Plan (WVP). Our safe production vision is to create a culture and environment where employees work injury-free.

Our proven best practices include:

  • Demonstrated management commitment
  • Safe production planning (pre-task/Pre-job process)
  • Safe production training and education
  • Worker participation and involvement
  • Subcontractor management
  • Injury/Incident reporting and investigation
  • Drug and alcohol testing

Our continued progress in workplace safety practices has proven its success with a decrease in our Experience Modifier over the past years. This rating system compares our safety rating to other companies in the same industry. We also have maintained our A grade with ISNetworld. ISN is a global online contractor and supplier management platform used by corporations, utilities, and government agencies to help manage risk. ISN reviews all of our safety efforts, from written programs to implementation of those programs in the field and office. It also ensures we are following and meeting all regulatory requirements of local, state, and federal agencies.
